Your address becomes a variable. The people around you do not have to.

It lasts longer than any one stay

A Cell is a group of crews in campers who live near each other and move together. People join for weeks or for years and leave when they need to. The Cell carries on, and so can the camper you were in.

The route is decided as it goes

The standing question is where it is better for this particular group to live next. The answer depends on the season, costs, work, visas, roads and what people want, so it changes.

Your camper, a rented one, or ours

Bring your own vehicle, rent one yourself, or use a camper from the VERV fleet once there is one. Nobody has to use a VERV vehicle.

The group decides, by written rules

Proposals, discussion and votes follow rules everyone can read. Votes are equal: nobody gets more say through status, money or how long they have been around.

An Expedition Team travels with you

The group decides where it wants to go. The VERV Expedition Team works out whether that can be done and makes it happen: pitches, legal limits, arrivals, breakdowns, emergencies. VERV plans for two support vehicles on the road with each Cell.

Built for people who like things explicit

Remote workers, seasonal workers, founders, families, people between homes. The format suits anyone who prefers clear rules and their own space to unspoken expectations.

Start in southern Spain
The Cell meets in summer 2027, gets to know the vehicles, the rules and each other, and settles in.
Live together, independently
Your own home, your own work, your own days. Shared meals, trips and projects when you want them.
Decide where to go
Anyone can propose a move. Each proposal shows why: cost, weather, places to stay, work, visas, who can join or leave there.
Move
The Expedition Team books, checks and coordinates. You drive at your own pace and arrive when you arrive.
Settle, and ask again
A few weeks later, the same question. Short hops happen often, big moves rarely.

Steps three to six repeat. People come and go; the Cell does not stop.

Three directions, none of them chosen

From the south of Spain there are three obvious ways to go in summer. Each has a price. The first real decision the Genesis Cell makes is which of them to take, if any.

Atlantic

West along the Costa de la Luz to the Algarve, then up the coast of Portugal towards Lisbon.

The ocean keeps this coast cooler than the rest of the south. The price is wind: the coast around Tarifa is among the windiest in Europe, which is why kitesurfers go there. It crosses a border.
Mediterranean

East past Ronda to Málaga, Granada and Cabo de Gata, then north towards Valencia.

The most cities, food and history, with mountains close to the sea. Also the most heat: afternoons above 30 °C are normal in July and August, inland far above, and nights on the coast stay warm and humid.
North

Up through Extremadura and Castile to Asturias and Cantabria.

Green, quiet and rarely hot, with the Picos de Europa behind the coast. It is green because it rains, summer included, and it is about 800 km from Seville.

These are possibilities, not an itinerary. The Cell may take one of them, part of one, or go somewhere else.

What is decided, and what is not

Most of this project is still open. We would rather show that than hide it.

Genesis starts in summer 2027.
It starts in southern Spain.
There is no fixed route and no final destination.
The Cell decides where it goes, by written rules.
People can leave while the Cell, and their camper, carry on.
Social activities are optional, and skipping them is never held against you.
No diagnosis is asked for. Nobody has to identify as anything.
Joining is not consent to being filmed or studied. Each is asked separately.
There will be no single score that ranks people.

Take part as much as you want

There are three usual ways to live in a Cell. You can move between them whenever you like, and none of them is the better one.

Independent

You live alongside the Cell and keep to yourself. You read the proposals and vote when you care about the outcome.

Social

You join the meals, walks, trips and evenings that appeal to you, and skip the ones that do not.

Contributor

You take something on: a workshop, a shared tool, a role. Responsibilities are agreed in advance and written down. They are never assumed.

"I do not want group activities this week" is a normal answer here. Almost nothing is mandatory: a safety briefing, a vehicle check, an evacuation.

Neurodivergent-friendly by design

No diagnosis is asked for, and you never have to explain yourself. These are simply how a Cell is run, for everyone.

Rules are written down.What is expected, what is optional and what happens next are stated, not implied.
Responsibilities are explicit.You are accountable for what you agreed to take on, and for nothing you did not.
Writing comes first.Proposals and decisions happen in text, in your own time. Calls are the exception.
Your space is yours.Your camper is your home. Nobody is owed your company.
Fewer social assumptions.Declining an invitation needs no reason and costs nothing.
Changes come with notice.Plans, moves and deadlines are announced ahead, with the reasons.

What VERV provides

Not a package holiday. The things a group cannot easily organise for itself.

A way to decide.Proposals, discussion, votes and a record of them, with rules for which kind of decision needs what.
The Expedition Team.On the road with the Cell, handling feasibility, pitches, legal limits, arrivals and departures, providers and emergencies.
Route intelligence.For every place the Cell considers: cost, weather, where campers can stay, work and visa consequences, and whether crews can change there.
Support.Help when a vehicle breaks down, a booking falls through or a plan has to change quickly.
The Cell itself.People who are still there next month.
A VERV fleet, if you want one.Campers built for living and working in, once the fleet exists. Always optional.
Personal mobility support.Help with visas, permits, residence papers and border questions.

Looking at your situation, research, document checklists, coordination with providers, finding local professionals, and reasonable administrative help.

It does not include

Government and visa fees, lawyers, notaries, sworn translations, agents or expedited services. No outside cost is incurred without your explicit approval.

None of these prices is final. They are the numbers we are testing, shown so that you can judge whether this is within reach.

For your own vehicle or one you rent yourself. It covers the work each vehicle adds for the Cell: pitches, logistics, checks.

VERV camper not fixed

A subsidised target. €399 a month does not pay for what a camper costs to build and run. The difference has to come from fleet financing that is not in place yet, so this price may change. It replaces the vehicle contribution.

Reserving a place being tested

If you are accepted, we expect to ask for a reservation of about €1,500 per crew, credited to your first invoices, and about €2,500 more to allocate a VERV camper. The refund rules will be published in full before anyone is asked to pay. Nothing can be paid through this site.

The whole month adds what living this way costs wherever you are: serviced pitches at high-season rates, fuel, tolls, food you cook yourself, internet, travel and health insurance, and a reserve for your vehicle. It is a range across all three directions, rounded to €50. Eating out, activities and trips home are left out. Children are counted for pitches, food and insurance but not for a Member Pass, because what a child pays has not been decided.

These are rough estimates, not quotes. The wishlist works it out for your own crew, line by line, and shows its assumptions.

The Genesis fleet

VERV plans to have campers built for Genesis by builders it already works with. This is the actual state of that fleet, and it will be updated here as it changes.

VERV Nomads Fellowships

planned, not funded

Some places in a Cell should not depend on what a person can pay. A VERV Nomads Fellowship is a subsidised place.

A Fellowship might cover membership, membership and a vehicle, part of the cost of getting around, or everything. The money may come from VERV, donors, sponsors, foundations or research budgets. None of it is in place yet.

Fellowships will not go to whoever is best known or best rated. If you would need one to take part, say so in the wishlist: that is how we learn how many to raise money for, and it changes nothing else about your wishlist.

A community like this ends up knowing where you are, where you are going and when your home is empty. So the rule is: collect less, keep less, reveal less.

The terms, in plain language

How VERV Nomads is meant to work. This is a summary and not a contract: the full terms will be drafted and legally reviewed before anyone is asked to sign or pay.

No fixed route.VERV does not promise an itinerary, and places can change.
Deciding together is part of what you join.That includes living with decisions you voted against.
Some safety and legal decisions belong to the Expedition Team.Its powers are narrow, written down and open to audit.
Taking part is voluntary.You can leave a Cell, and leaving a Cell is not leaving VERV.
Optional activities stay optional.
Your own costs are yours.Pitches, fuel, food, insurance, your vehicle.
Outside providers have their own terms and risks.Campsites, rental companies, ferries, garages.
Vehicles have rules.Roadworthy, insured and legally driven. VERV campers come with conditions of their own.
Cancellation and refundswill be set out in full before any payment is asked for.
Conduct and disputes.Expected conduct is written down and applies to everybody, the team included. There is a process for disputes, and findings can be contested.
Emergencies.In an emergency the Expedition Team may act first and account for it afterwards.
Eligibility.Applying will include an eligibility check. Its criteria will be published once they have been legally reviewed.
